Orange – from the fruit peel. Orange is now widely cultivated for its fruit and juice all around the Mediterranean and in California and Florida.

A bright and refreshing oil, which is cheering. It is tonifying and blends particularly well with the warming oils.

Orange has a special quality when correcting mistakes in blending. Adding a few drops, will tone down and balance the blend. It has a sweet and tangy aroma.

USES:    Blend each recipe to 25ml of base oil.

DIGESTIVE SYSTEM - Promotes peristalsis, easing constipation.

Digestive Blend:  Orange 7 drops/Black Pepper 3 drops/Peppermint 2 drops.

CIRCULATORY SYSTEM - Valuable for treating cardiac spasm or palpitations and reducing blood cholesterol.

Circulatory Blend:  Orange 7 drops/Ylang-Ylang 3 drops/Lavender 2 drops.

EMOTION - Very cheering, joyful, bright and lively, orange disperses gloomy thoughts, emotional tangles, obsessions and a fear of the unknown, creating a positive outlook. It dispels depression and sadness.
