From the petals. The ‘Otto’ is distilled from the damask rose and the ‘Absolute’ is solvent extracted from the cabbage rose. Both oils are associated for their qualities in skin care. They are an ingredients for the finest of perfumes and expensive skin care products.

They have a soothing action on the emotions, provide comfort in times of turbulence and instil a feeling of peace and happiness. They are associated with spirituality of the heart and have the quality of being sensual and romantic.

USES:    Blend each recipe to 25ml of base oil.

DIGESTIVE SYSTEM - Strengthens the stomach and promotes the flow of bile; useful in the treatment of jaundice.

Digestive Blend:  Rose 5 drops/Orange 4 drops/Peppermint 2 drops.

CIRCULATORY SYSTEM - Tones the blood vessels, cleanses the blood, promotes circulation, relieves cardiac congestion and regulates the action of the heart. Good for anaemia.

Circulatory Blend:  Rose 6 drops/Rosemary 2 drops/Melissa 2 drops.

REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM - Cleanses the womb, regulates menstrual function; useful in the treatment of impotence and sterility. Eases premenstrual tension and painful periods.

Reproductive Blend:  Rose 6 drops/Sandalwood 5 drops/Geranium 2 drops.
